Making a Purchase
Purchasing from Electrowise Online couldn’t be easier. Just browse through our products or search for the product you require and add the item to your shopping cart. Once you have completed your shopping click on “Checkout” and you will be asked to enter the details we require to process your order.
In the case that we take an order for an item, but run out of stock prior to your order being dispatched, we will order the item in as soon as possible. We will endeavour to contact you to either offer you an alternative product of equal specification and value or allow you to cancel the order.
We accept all our payments via Nochex only, or alternatively come into our retail store and purchase the item(s) over the counter at the in-store prices..
We trade in sterling (GBP). We will only trade with residents of the United Kingdom Mainland
You may only place orders and make communications with us in English, and all contracts concluded between us will be in English.

Shipping and Handling
The website will add a shipping charge to all orders appropriate to the weight and size of the product you are purchasing, all our shipping methods are aimed at getting the product to your door as quickly and as safely as possible using royal mail or a reputable carrier.

Cancelling an Order
Under the EC Distance Selling Directive, you have the right to cancel your contract for your purchase within 7 working days commencing the day after the date you received the item. You do not need to give us any reason for the cancellation, nor will you have to pay any penalty. You cannot cancel your contract if the goods you have ordered are pieces of computer software, and you have removed the product from its sealed packaging, this includes hardware with bundled software.

To return the items to us, please return the item with your full invoice and order sheet (this will be the confirmation email you received). Package the items securely and send them to us with the invoice within 7 working days commencing the day after you received the items. We request that you email us at webreturns@electrowise.com to tell us that you are returning the goods before you send them. At least 24 hours advanced warning is required for returns. We suggest that you use the recorded-delivery service. Note you will be responsible for the cost of shipping the item back to us, unless we sent the item to you in error.
When we receive the item we will refund you for the full value of the item, this does not include the shipping charge.
Once you have notified us that you are returning your goods, any sum debited to us from your credit or debit card will be re-credited to your account as soon as we receive the returned goods and in any event within 30 days of receiving the goods from you. If you return the goods and fail to pay the cost of delivery we will be entitled to deduct that cost from the amount we re-credit you.

Cancellation by Electrowise
We reserve the right to cancel the order between us if:
We have insufficient stock to deliver the goods you have ordered
You are outside our shipping area
One or more of the goods you have ordered was listed at an incorrect price due to a typographical error or an error in the pricing from our suppliers.
We can no longer get more stocks of the item you have ordered
the order breaks software licensing agreements (e.g. OEM products)
In the event that we cancel the order we will notify you via email and we will re-credit your account for the full amount as soon as possible, but in any event within 30 days of your order. We will not be obliged to offer any additional compensation for disappointment suffered.

Delivery Times
Your order will usually be dispatched the same day if we receive the order before 1pm UK time Monday to Friday with the exception of public holidays. If an order is placed after 1pm it will be processed the following working day.
We will aim to dispatch the item as soon as possible, but please allow at least 7 working days for the item to arrive before contacting us. We will not take any action until this time has passed.
Events Beyond Our Control
We shall have no liability to you for failure to deliver goods you have ordered, or any delay in doing so or for any damage or defect to goods delivered that is caused by any event or circumstance beyond our control including , without limitation, strikes, lock-outs and other industrial disputes, breakdown of systems or network access, flood, fire, explosion or accident.

Liability
If the goods that we delivered are not what you ordered or are damaged or defective or the delivery is of an incorrect quantity, we shall have no liability to you unless you notify us in writing via email or letter at our contact address of the problem within 7 working days of receiving the goods.
If you do not receive goods ordered within 14 days of the date on which you ordered them, we shall have no liability to you unless you notify us in writing via email or letter of the problem within 20 days of the date the goods were ordered.
If you notify us of a problem under the above conditions our only obligation will be, at your option
to make good any shortage or non-delivery
to replace or repair any goods that are damaged or defective
to refund to you the amount paid by you for the goods in question in whatever way we choose.
Save as precluded by law, we will not be liable for you for any indirect or consequential loss, damage or expenses (including loss of profits, business or goodwill) howsoever arising out of any problem you notify us under this condition and we shall have no liability to pay any money as compensation other that a refund to the value of the goods in question under point c) above.
We will not accept liability for the incorrect fitting and or resultant damage to the purchased component or any other component within the computer system.

Tax Rate
All goods on our site will have the relevant UK tax rate of 17.5% VAT.

All our credit/debit card transaction are completed using the nochex merchant service please see the relevant terms for the security policy http://www.nochex.com

Guarantee on our Products
We guarantee your satisfaction. All our products come with a 7 working day guarantee. As stated in “Cancelling an Order”. Please see that section for instructions for returning goods.
All our goods come with a 12 month warranty subject to testing in some cases., please note that certain items may have 3 years manufacturers warranty but we will only support you for the first 12 months of that cover, the remainder will be covered by the terms of the manufacturer.
This does not affect your statutory rights as a customer.

In the unfortunate event that you are not happy with our online service and feel that you need to take the matter, further please contact us in one of the following ways:

Note that we will not deal with website complaints in our retail store or via telephone. We endeavour to reply to all complaints in a prompt manner, and within 7 working days.

Returns Policy
We offer all our customers a 7 day full money back guarantee. All products also carry a minimum of 12 months warranty against failure and defects under reasonable operating conditions. In some cases products have more than a 12 months warranty we will cover the first 12 months the remainder will be between yourself and the manufacturer under the terms stated within the packaging. This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.
If you are not satisfied with your item, you can return it.
To return the product please contact us via email clearly stating the invoice number, and your customer reference. We will then reply to you with confirmation and a return reference number and instructions on returning the item.

Remittance Terms
All goods remain the property of Electrowise Ltd until paid for.

Invalidity
If any part of these terms and conditions is unenforceable (including and provision in which we exclude our liability to you) the enforceability of any other part of these conditions will not be affected.

Government Law
The contract between us shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with English law and the English courts shall have jurisdiction to resolve any disputes between us.

General Jurisdiction Disclaimer
This site is aimed at residents of the United Kingdom mainland. If you are not a resident of the United Kingdom do not attempt to purchase from this site. In listing your place of residence and delivery address in our order form, you are representing to us that you are a resident of the United Kingdom. This is a representation on which we rely prior to accepting your offer to purchase our goods.

Third Party Rights
Except for our affiliates , directors, employees, or representatives a person who is not a party to this agreement has no right under the UK Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999 to enforce any term of this agreement but this does not affect any rights or remedy of a third party that exists or is available apart from that Act
